Blocker™ Soil
Fungicide
For
control of certain soil-borne diseases on cotton,
beans, crucifers (cabbage, cauliflower, brussels
sprouts, broccoli), peanuts, potatoes, turf, ornamental,
and bedding plant uses. Blocker is available in a
flowable, wettable powder, and granule formulation.

Rhizoctonia (at planting)
Under Evaluation
White Mold (Sclerotinia- post plant), Scab, Silver
Scuf, Powdery Mildew
Use Blocker in conjuntion with a seed treatment. While
a seed treatment protects the seed piece, Blocker protects
the soil in the tuber zone. Application methods for
potatoes: In furrow, apply Blocker 10G at a rate of
25 lbs to an 8-inch band (34 inch row) using a gandy
box or similar equipment. Or, apply Blocker 4F at a
rate of 5-10 pints per acre. Placement is critical!
Blocker must be placed above and around the seed piece
where the tubers form. Under evaluation: For control
of white mold, 1 pint Rovral with 3 pints Blocker was
evaluated in 1999. Further details coming soon.
