The active ingredient in DISCIPLINE 2EC, bifenthrin, is a highly effective pyrethroid insecticide that has a proven track record of success in controlling the toughest, most damaging insects and mites in all types of corn.

At Plant Use Recommendations

Apply at 0.15 to 0.30 fl. oz per 1,000 feet of row in a 5 to 7 inch T-band treatment over the open furrow for control of labeled insects. Position the spray nozzle behind the planter shoe and in front on the press wheel over the row. Apply a minimum of 3 gal. of finished spray per acre. DISCIPLINE 2EC can be mixed with water or liquid fertilizer. Do not apply where there is greater than 30 percent cover of crop residue. Do not apply more than 0.10 lb. active ingredient per acre, per season at planting.

Pre-emergence and Preplant-Incorporated Use Recommendations

Apply DISCIPLINE 2EC at 2.56 fl. oz per acre PRE for control of black cutworm and other labeled pests, and at 3 to 4 fl. Oz. per acre PPl for seed- attacking insects in addition to cutworm. DISCIPLINE 2EC can be tank-mixed with both PRE and PPl corn herbicides. For PPl applications, incorporation depth should be as close as possible to the intended seed planting depth.

Foliar Use Recommendations

For control of labeled foliar insects, DISCIPLINE 2EC can be applied at 2.1 to 6.4 fl. oz per acre, depending on pests to be controlled, insect pressure, application timing and method. Follow gallonage recommendations on the label for both ground and aerial applications.

DISCIPLINE 2EC can be applied through irrigation systems specified on the label.

Do not apply DISCIPLINE 2EC within 30 days of harvest. Ultra Low Volume applications on corn are not permitted. Use of the product is not permitted in all coastal counties.
