Richard Porter is responsible for AMVAC’s product development and technical service activities supporting the sales team in the Midwest Region, including the SmartBox® delivery system for corn soil insecticides. Mr. Porter’s extensive experience in the crop protection industry includes field development, technical service, sales training, and managing regulatory issues for a diverse product line in both row crop and specialty crop markets. Mr. Porter holds a B.S. degree in Natural Resources from the University of Connecticut and an M.S. degree in Plant Pathology from Pennsylvania State University.
